Surface tension is one of my favorite chapters next to lambda core and the first few chapters
One of the best chapters too
Me want tentacle
Please update the Tentacle's programming so the mapper can decide how many "levels" it operates on! Right now, a Tentacle always assumes it's in the Blast Pit, so it bangs its head against invisible ledges at 3 different levels, even if there's nothing around it!
I'd love to use the Tentacle in a future map, but it's just not plausible with the hardwired way it's currently set up.
It would be interesting if the Apache was there as well like in Half-Life. Something like where the Apache drops down in front of you, charging up its minigun, and then flies up and retreats instead as the tentacle comes out of the ground directly below the Apache to swipe at it.
I also love interacting with the Tentacle Npc on my maps :D
If chon doesn't put the tentacles, I'll just add them myself for local use.
