Spent a good while getting the 5 chest achievment, however.
the chocobo mini-game single handedly made me hate the game
I managed it though. I spent longer getting the five chests at Remiem.
The lightning challenge is not hard, just extremly tedious. There is a spot between a rock and a cactuar stone where lightning strikes every six seconds (not 100% sure about that frequence...), stuck you in it with a no encounter equipement and you just have to press the button for 20 minutes.
And with the butterflies, you need to try again and again until you learn the right path. The HD version may make it easier than on the PS2 version, maybe can you actually distinguish the red butterflies from the blue ones here. Be careful not to change zone at the end of the north course, that's always frustrating. And you need a no encounter equipement, if it's not obvious.
