Pretty much the same thing, except you can press F1 to activate hyper-speed and F4 to activate auto-battle, which is REALLY nice for grinding.

I get the feeling i'd come back to a auto battle with a game over screen lol

cheats, autosave, mods, better antialiasing, 4k support and maybe 60fps in the future.

so nothing really good enough to get this over the ps4 ver atm then. 4k is really not a huge deal since supporting monitors are upwards of 1 grand and not affordable yet.

Yeah, I'd say there's not really a significant reason to get this if you already have the PS4 version. PC has benefits like easier modding, stat/item editing, graphics mods, cheats, tweaks, etc, but the vanilla game is pretty much just the PS4 version.

There's not a significant difference. It was worth the buy to me simply for the boosters and being able to have it on PC and modding it, but of course, whether those things are worth buying it again is subjective. Wait and buy it when it's on sale or something.

It's really only for use in fights you know you're going to do nothing but auto-attack.

I've only ever used it in the Omega Ruins and the Monster Arena, because I know for a fact that I can kill enemies with only attack and auto-phoenix.

I don't think it's worth it if you have the ps4 version. The game is so easy that cheats are a non-issue and imo there is no need to mod anything. When I replay the game I just play for the story and if I feel psyched on maxing stats I will, which I guess the PC version could cut down the grinding but the journey is more important than the destination, I think. That could also come from the fact that I have 4 copies already (2xps2,1 ps3 and 1 ps4 copy) so perhaps I can't justify buying another one. I would have for sure though if I didn't have the ps4 version.

The only real upside in that situation I think is having a digital copy. One that doesn't require any care or maintenance whatsoever. For me it's just not worth it at full price (which isn't high even here in Australia).

Maybe wait on a sale. FF don't usually go below 50% off (if ever) but go on sale pretty often.

The modding community it really starting to come to life now, making the PC version far superior.

From 4k textures/Improved textures to HD Sphere Grid, to skipping cutscenes and more.
