Green Screen?

I keep getting a greed screen during some cinamatatics and cut-scenes. What gives? Solution?

there isn't one really i'm afraid just rely on the auto save , and manual save at every opportunity . just reload and you can get past the cinematic , but it is totally random

Suspicion is mounting it's related to some kind of VRAM issue. Details remain unclear.

For some people with nVidia cards, setting their power settings to "max performance" has helped.

For some people, using https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683802394 has helped; for others, it's made things worse.

For some people, disabling Steam's "big picture mode" or overlay has helped.

For some people, frequently restarting the game has helped.

In any event, the green cutscenes may not always be visible (sometimes it's green tint, sometimes it's solid green) but they do tend to actually play; so you can still progress if you like. Otherwise, save frequently, and be aware of autosave as suggested above.

I just had this happen after the Evrae fight, and fixed the issue by making sure I wasn't in 2x/4x speed during the cutscene.

It happens sometimes for me If I play for a few hours, or more than a few hours and then hit a cut scene. Best thing to do is to reload after saving after a while or just quit and reload the game. Then it should be good.

Download that and run it on FFX.exe (or FFX-2.exe for the sequel). The game has a video memory bug and this third-party tool fixed it for me.

...I literally said it fixed it for me, so yes? :P

I got it from another thread somewhere, I think reddit, and I've seen it posted on other forums, seems to work for pretty much everyone.
