This message appears in the launcher upon starting the game. Anyone with the same issue?

I have the exact same problem after re-installing the game into steam but cannot seem to resolve it

I have 5 odyssey accounts (and 5 steam accounts to go with them.) Sometimes when I swap from one steam account to another, it doesn't seem to log in properly. E.g. I can't leave a review or view my own profile page. And that's when I also get the 'this account does not own elite dangerous' message.

As someone mentioned, restarting steam to force it to connect properly to the servers seems to fix it.

I also have this currently unresolvable problem. I bought a second copy of EDOdyssey from the Frontier website as advised, I have looked at every detail concerning my purchase on the original order and receipt provided by Frontier and nowhere is there a 25 character product key to copy and paste when the launcher asks for it. I'm swiftly running out of ideas and enthusiasm- as the game cost £30 I am less than happy. I can access my original game without problem but when I try to activate my second account I just fall at the launcher asking for the 25 character product code. I am rapidly becoming convinced that Frontier WANT ED to fail as the rigmarole involved in setting up a second account is so protracted and complicated; any other game would offer several Commanders (at a minimum) for one account- why must ED be so totally user unfriendly in this regard?

I already have a ticket awaiting a response asking for a 25 digit product code- sent the ticket late yesterday afternoon and still waiting for a reply. I hope they'll be able to set things to rights.... we'll see.

When you buy Odyssey DLC on the Frontier web site, it is added directly to your Frontier account for which you bought it. The game launcher should see Odyssey associated with that account. It should not ask for any 25-digit codes for Odyssey.

Are you sure it's not asking a code for your base game+Horizons account?

Make sure you've done it for the right account as well.
