I am stuck without fuel in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere how do I restart?

Nope, you'll burn before filling the 10th of your fuel tank, that thing can't handle much heat. If you don't plan to jump to other systems and just fight locally, fitting a fuel scoop is a waste imho.

happened to me a few times but you soon learn not to go onto the next jump with less than half fuel without looking at map for star typ so scoop works.

That was a function very early on yes, but it wasn't really like a distress beacon, you activated it and a message popped up where you was able to refuel your ship for a higher expense than usual. This would work everywhere if they kept it in the game like that, even far far out in unpopulated empty space. They said that it might return with a different functionality at some point though.

Yeah, my thought was that it needed a bigger warning/better explanation of what it actually does. Even if I understand what was meant, someone is bound to do it then rage completely because they did not.

In the outfitting service of a star port. Not all have this service or all modules.
Look for high tech stations (you can filter your galaxy map).

theres a site on google called fuel rats. its always online. just tell them its an emergancy and there give you a name to add and bingo... about 4 asps will come to your rescue. they dont ask for anything but its nice to jettison some cargo for them to sell
