On all ships, one jump too far and you could be empty, why even taking the risk?
That was a function very early on yes, but it wasn't really like a distress beacon, you activated it and a message popped up where you was able to refuel your ship for a higher expense than usual. This would work everywhere if they kept it in the game like that, even far far out in unpopulated empty space. They said that it might return with a different functionality at some point though.
Yeah, my thought was that it needed a bigger warning/better explanation of what it actually does. Even if I understand what was meant, someone is bound to do it then rage completely because they did not.
