my whole life has been a lie. i could have sworn they said it'd be 1 month. i quit at the time due to the disgusting nature of locking ships behind a paywall and only just got back cuz i got the itch.
It's usually a week or so after the next ship becomes available for ARX I thought? So you're looking at shortly after the release of the Panther Clipper...

:riddle: :Koh: :sectoid:

Man, that feels weird... It wasn't so long ago a sentence which finished with "...after the release of a the Panther Clipper" would have been a joke... We've been robbed of that now :steammocking:

So I actually ran the numbers a bit back, and the Python Mk II was indeed three months (The Frontier post literally said "This will be available in 3 months"). Since then, each new ship has had a slightly longer time-frame prior to credits release. Whether that's due to timing of other big updates/releases, I'm not sure. But was something like 13 weeks for one, 16 for the next, 17-18 for the one after that. I'd honestly expect about four months before the Corsair is available for credits from the original ARX release.

No joke you read like a kid out of touch with reality no wonder your life is a lie.

So you think it's normal for a company to create free content like they are some humanitarian volunteers ?
So i guess it's okay for anyone to ask you to work for free IRL ? i mean it's disgusting that you ask people to pay you for your WORK.
I guess you must still live with daddy mommy if you think you can live without money and out of the good heart of people in today society.

I already paid for the work via LEP, yet I'm still having to pay for the early access to ships. It is how it is, even if I don't like it.

i paid for the DLC. i'd pay for another. early access ships that are done and already in the game being LOCKED is absolutely the worst choice here.

Personally I'd say ships being behind a cheaper, temporary* paywall is a better choice than them being behind a more expensive, permanent paywall, but you do you.

I'd rather they not be behind a paywall but I'd prefer a battle pass as a monetization method over ships. I'm well aware of their need to earn money but I just don't like how they're doing it ya know?

As long as they make money with it.... credits gonna wait

now we have the Boa haha

Ships are a very bad form of monetization because they cross over into game play.

It encourages a new unbalanced ship each time they come out with one, and ruins the galaxy.

It isn't about whether to monetize or not, I've sent a lot of extra money F-dec's way prior to their store revamp last year.

It's all about a healthy monetization.
