Where to buy a new ship?

I hadn't played since 2017 and made a new save. I've gotten myself 1,8 mil with just my sidewinder but all the stations I've gone to have had the exact same layout and I can't seen to find anywhere to buy a ship. I'm in the Kawiloni system ATM.

Using map filters, you can find find systems that have a high-tech economy. Those will typically have a better selection.

There's a system that has all the modules but at a 20% premium. I can't remember its name. Isn't Shinrarta Dhezra so it doesn't require Elite rankings to get to.

"stations looks the same?" so i assume you are on foot right?
in stations maybe you see a hologram of spinning ship models.
there in the corner is a vendor where you can manage your ships or buy new ones

You're probably going to want around 5 million to get a whole new ship, including having enough for rebuys and to buy misc stuff.
In the meanwhile, you can upgrade your Sidey to a class A FSD and class D everything else.

and design your perfect ship. In the upper right there is a $ button that takes you to Inara.cz and lets you know where you can go to buy it all in one shot.

Thanks I've figured it out. All the stations I had seen so far have been the smaller ones that's why. I've gotten myself something new : )
