Credits All Gone?

Is there a way to look back what you bought and where you spent how much money?

I saved up about 10M, then I went on a long trip to buy some alloys and when I was about to make a purchase, I had only 63K, thankfully I could sell a bunch of constellations and then buy what I needed, but what happened to my 10M?

I didn't die. I did get out of my ship drive the rover around on planets and then returned to the ship, boarded and flew onward.

Is this a sync issue perhaps and the money will be restored or did I get robbed by pirates when I left my ship on the planet?

I use a tool called EDDiscovery in combination with Inara.cz to track my ledger/finances. Provided you have all your journals, EDDiscovery can scan those and upload them to Inara, or you can just check the ledger in EDDiscovery itself.

Is that some 3rd party software? Does it work if I install it now? I haven't closed my game yet.

EDDiscovery is a third party tool.

It will work even if you install it while the game is running since it scans and parses your player log file that is stored in your AppData folder.

So here is the log, I believe it says I had 19M and nowhere does it say I spent that much. So where is the money?

Ok, so here it says I should still have 10M.

But in game I had 25'024 and only now that I sold the stars I made 900K and then bought an alloy for 200K

So I went to buy the alloy, but it said insufficient funds. Strange, but I sold my stars for 950'366CR

I then purchased the alloy for 271'014CR

Which left me with a total of 704'376 which means I must have had 25'024CR when I noticed I have no money.

And here is the ledger that shows a different number. I'm worried cause it's more than a visual glitch, since I couldn't buy something I had the money for. Had it just been visual, it should have worked, no?

I've left the earlier place, spent some money on fuel at various stops on my way back to see if that would trigger any changes, but nothing.

The only thing I could recommend at this point is take the data you have here and send a support ticket on to Frontier. 10m is no big deal for me, but I'm operating at a higher volume.

Will do that and you're right, but if 10M just go missing without a trace for no reason, that in total it's possible you already lost more.

I hope this gets fixed, I don't want to keep having to check if my money is still there.

Where did you buy the alloy?

The 200k sounds like the regular market wide price, but might not be what you paid if you got it from a player carrier.

It wasn't a carrier, it was in the Maia system on a planet. I forgot the name. There were 2, but I only needed one. I would have bought them both, but seeing as I would have too little money then, I decided to pass on it.

Also, the issue with the money was before I purchased the alloy for 200K, I was told that I have insufficient funds and that is when I found it unusual, knowing I just farmed 10M.

I literally docked the final passenger and said to myself, "this was productive, time to travel" and by the time I got there nothing of that 10M was there.

I've been playing for a decade, thousands of hours with hundreds of different people, and I've never heard of funds disappearing.

I recommend you sync your account with Inara.cz and then look at your transaction history on there. It shows your balance over time, too.

I will try that and it was normal credits, not bounties or bonds. I was bringing passengers all over the place to farm that money.

I did restart the game and my PC in case that would somehow fix it, but nope. I've already opened a ticket for this issue, but I'm open to suggestions from you or others.
