How do I cancel a squadron application?

I accidentally sent an application to a squadron I didn't intend to join. There isn't a cancel option on the interface. Is there a way to cancel it elsewhere?

Most squadrons provide a way to contact them, often on a discord.

First step, look for their group on Inara. They will either list a discord or forum or something. Alternately, contact the leader or other high up in the sqaudron via message on Inara.

Second step, if they are not on inara, google the group. See if they list any contact info amywhere else.

If all else fails, raise a ticket with FD, asking them to cancel the request on your behalf.

When done, sign up for the Ancients of Mumu ;)

Go to the Inara site, look up the squadron and quit. No big problem. Fly safe Cmdr. o7

I suppose you could always grab a combat ship, look up the squadrons home system and then murder all the members. While this probably won't have much effect on your application it might just make them dislike you enough to throw you out right away ;)

Of course I'd try the other suggestions first if I were you :)

I just paid 10,000,000 credits to make my own squadron.
This was to remove the 5 applications I made to other squadrons. Worked fine.
i have deleted my squadron to join another, Cool Dudes. Still waiting after 24 hours real timer. I will edit this if I ever join a squadron :)

Oh, i hope you didn't apply to us. I'm terrible at checking for applications (mainly because i don't expect anyone to actually apply, but also because the game is really bad at making it clear a request is pending).

Maybe why I am waiting so long. I was in a squad but I left as I wanted one with Aisling Duval. The squad home screen shows applications :)

You're applying to Squadrons in Odyssey?

Erm, no point really, its alpha. What happens in alpha stays in alpha. It will all get wiped anyway.
