If you find the gameplay to be boring, then you can choose other games that better suit your preferences, instead of ruining this game.
Also giving other players things is entirely possible. It is just quicker and easier to sell them at fleet carriers than to mess with cargo scooping most of the time.
And private servers do exist. It is the second option when you hit play. It's a native capability, too- you don't have to mess around with hosting, anyone can make them. Almost every player community has one, and people use them all the time when instance control is important.
It also seems like you aren't aware that engineering is a thing, nor have you tried flying flight assist off, if all you are doing is jousting and you feel like the damage is too low.
It sounds like you don't have the slightest clue how nearly anything in this game works, and so you have jumped to saying that it does not. I might give some credence to the idea that your ignorance is indeed the devs fault, except these particular things are a far cry from the esoteric systems that normally cause these problems, and are indeed one of the few areas the Pilot's Handbook does explain well.
I mean, seriously. The age rating on the game is not so low that independent thought is an impossible bar that you should berate the game for putting in front of you.
It's not just you. I prefer to call it a clown show, to be honest. If it's not clowns complaining, it's clowns demanding things, or clowns spreading false information, or clowns claiming how the game is dying and their half-baked suggestion is the only way that it will survive (every game dev should take advice from people on the internet with zero experience in game design, right?).
Cool. Its not an assassinate pirate mission so...Scanned the nav beacon got a message that said there was no target info, sorry.
You mean the overcharge button that makes my ship fly all crazy and then catch on fire?
Do you guys seriously ever consider that people doing "hunt the pirate mission" or "fetch the mcguffin" probably arent in fully engineered FDLs or whatever?
4K steam players this month, peak was 27K three years ago. You are the misinformer.
I love how whenever someone accuses other people of misinformation... they're always the one spreading misinformation.
Yes you can...
Abandon said item from your cargo hold, another player can scoop it manually or with a limpet if they don't want to buy it off your FC.
You can literally bank-roll someones initial FC cost or anything else, so there goes "not being able to pay someone" as well.
Ships/modules are an obvious no, but any other cargo? Absolutely fair game.
Oh man you're totally right. Well, you are if you are deliberately interpreting everything I said incorrectly.
That's not what the private server was for.
Oh sorry, you can't give ANYTHING OF USE to another player. like idk.. money or modules.
Those degraded signals are for the team effort missions and they're marked that way because it doesn't matter how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the Anaconda and 4 eagles it throws at you are, they'll kill you if you're in any of the starter fighters. There's no FA-off dancing that's going to save you from that many angles of fire, you're supposed to have a wingman.
Engineering has not even been introduced into the game yet. (yes I'm aware you'll deliberately misinterpret that statement as well, but I'm not wasting any more time on this convo)
Not everyone plays Elite via Steam.... People still use the stand-alone launcher.
