I can't pay the FINE
I received a fine from the Z faction for possibly abandoning a BGS mission in the amount of 150,000 credits. I tried to pay it at the station (both office and interstellar) and in the Z faction's system, but there was no option to do so. I flew to another system, to a station of the same faction, and encountered the same issue. I went to a station of a different faction, but the problem persisted. I returned to the Z faction's station, disembarked, and "on foot" found that I had no fine (all missions available, services accessible). I boarded the ship, and the fine was back. I disembarked again, turned off the computer. This morning, I woke up, and it turns out the fine is still there in the on-foot version, and I can pay it. I PAID. I boarded the ship, but the fine is still there. Do you think it's a bug that needs to be reported?

If you can't find the original system, you can only pay the fine at Government->Anarchy.

Because you committed a crime by flying a spaceship, the fine is tied to your spaceship.

Yes, but I came back to original system.

Just try to look up the Interstellar Factors within the galaxy map: that's where you can safely pay off fines and bounties without anything bad happening. They do charge a bit extra, but it will save you a lot of hassle, esp. when you gained a bounty.

Best idea is to check your left panel, make sure you know which faction issued the fine, and then check that you're actually 'wanted' in the system you're in. If a station doesn't limit you to anonymous access then you probably don't have a fine there.

I have visited few Interstellar Factors stations, same story. Decided to destroy a ship and now all fixed.

I had some similiar behavior a few days ago. I had to fly a few more ly away from the original system, and used Interstellar Factors there. When i tried this too close to the original system, it didn't work.
i have a small bounty on one of my ships that I can not seem to pay off. Either through the system i got it in, or an interstellar factor. its a bit odd, nd really annoying since it a 150 credit fine.

It's because you have HIGH "notoriety"! That usually happens when doing illegal missions and you kill a lot. Or maybe you did it in a system that is NOT anarchic. Notice that it tells you how much notoriety you have (in red) in the right panel. By just having 1 you can no longer pay for your crimes, you have to wait for it to go down to zero and then you can pay in interestella factors. Unfortunately THE ONLY way to make it go away is by "waiting" and at least two hours. Illegal missions are best done outside the bubble.
my notoriety was zero. my fine was a landing pad violation.

Range from "offense"solved it for me as well. IFs close by did not work.

They will not work if a minor faction that issued your fine is present in that star system. And those factions most probably will be present in nearby star systems, too.
