SRV DRive Assist Off problem
I have been having issues with the throttle of the SRV, there is some kind of lag and when I throttle up and there is a 1 second delay or so before it starts moving. People suggested turning DA off.

My throttle is set to mouse wheel up - accelerate, mouse wheel down - decelerate and set to 10% increment and full range. When I switch DA off the mouse wheel doesn't do anything. I can't throttle up or down. What am I missing.

I can't help wonder if this setting isn't bugged, but that's an assumption on my part. Turning drive assist off will actually make sure that your throttle goes down to 0 whenever you're not pushing the accelerate button which I can't help wonder seems to be the opposite of what you'd expect.

I think that this can explain why it behaves in this way.

But like I said, I can't help wonder if this wasn't bugged back in the "Horizons only days", I usually rely on my keyboard for steering and acceleration.

I notice a huge difference between horizons and odyssey with the handling of the SRV. You barely touch the throttle and your doing spinning your wheels.

SRV / SHIP: Throttle != thrust.

You may use another vector for movement with drive assist off in SRV.
