Data delivery mission ?

How do I get the data for this type of mission. I have accepted the mission, and I see no data in my inventory under data?

It doesn't show up there, it's just "attached" to your ship automatically. Fly to destination and hand in.

You can´t see it.
Just fly to your target and complete your mission.

How do I hand in data at delivery location? I went there didn't notice and option to turn in

If you're landed at the destination station, then you'll see it highlighted in blue in the missions screen in the station services tab.

I am on the mission board, there is one completed mission in blue. Looking under Star port Services-mission board
Playing Odessey, guessing it is the same Horizon

I landed on the indented target, having to deliver data, went to the mission board menu after docking nd the mission is in blue but still active and on countdown. Can't seem to find a way to complete it!

Click on the blue thing.

The Data is stored on your ship and takes up zero space. To complete the mission, travel to the location, open the Mission Tab, look for the BLUE mission Tab, (one is for carrying actual cargo delivery the other is for "non cargo" IE Data), click on it and complete the mission...Data missions DO NOT take up any space on your ship.

Actually... it's stored in your backpack yet you still can't see it. But it's not in your ship because you can easily take an Apex shuttle to your destination and still finish the mission as well.
