I want this to be known.
When decommissioning my carrier (going offline for a while) I noticed that the payment I would be receiving is wrong: 4.8bil for my carrier and its modules instead of 5.3bil. Yet on the fleet carrier - beta 2 patch notes and the fleet carrier launch patch notes it states: "When decommissioning a carrier you will receive a full refund". I'm fine with it being a mistake so I opened a ticket and they told me:

"This is actually working as intended.

I believe you have been given some incorrect information, as when you decommission your fleet carrier, you are not given the full value, but a percentage of the full value.

This value is based on how long you have owned the carrier."

YET this was supposed to be taken out BETA 2. I want every carrier owner to know DON'T DECOMMISSION until they give us what was promised! I hope that this was a mistake on the one customer support member because if its not, not only did they lie to us, they also have no touch with what they promised the community.

-----NOTE-----
Just to let you all know, my carrier has the following optional modules:
Module Cost
Refuel 40mil
Repair 50mil
Armoury 95mil
Shipyard 250mil

All of these plus the 5bil for the carrier should be: 5.435bil minus the 125mil fee should be a return of 5.31bil NOT 4.8bil.

^ This.

I don't own a F.C. myself (can't afford it, lol!) but from what I've read this is intended. You use the carrier and while doing so you also lower its return cost. From a 'reality perspective' it makes sense I think, though I can definitely understand your frustration.

But then again, although this doesn't apply to regular ships it's also fair to say that a F.C. isn't that regular (for starters it's always available in the game even if you're not).

My point is that they should implement what was promised, not say one thing and do another.

You are wrong: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/fleet-carriers-update-beta-2-upcoming-changes.544159/

The owner is refunded the full cost of their Fleet Carrier and any installed services, minus any unpaid debt in cases of automatic decommissioning or a fixed fee of 125 million credits in cases of voluntary decommissioning.

And perhaps you should dismantle installed modules before decomission too.

Its not an opinion. It's literally on the patch notes for beta 2 and the fleet carrier launch..

Dude, in the wiki, in the official forum by a dev and in support you got the same answer, there is a decomission fee.

End of the story.

Oohhh You misunderstand what I meant: I meant that you get the full refund of the carrier minus 125 mil CR. That I'm fine with but that support said and what is implemented is not whats in the patch notes. I was agreeing with what you said. What is implemented is what support told me:

"This is actually working as intended.

I believe you have been given some incorrect information, as when you decommission your fleet carrier, you are not given the full value, but a percentage of the full value.

Which is not a full refund minus 125mil. If you'd like to ask for more detail I'd love to elaborate more.
