Well, considering that all ships I've flown so far (Sidewinder, Adder, Cobra, Type6 & Dolphin) could use a boost by default my theory is that any distributor which provides better engine support will always be able to boost.
On my exploration ships I usually install a power distributor of a size just below being able to boost, and then I engineer it with a priority to engines. This way I regain my ability to boost, while still keep it to be pretty light on weight and power use.
If am not wrong my Phantom has a 1D distributor (engine focused/cluster capacitators) and it can boost...but it needs years to recharge for another boost.
So that means you have various modules for various roles?
Which parameters on these sites that tell us it can boost? Still confused with those numbers on these sites lol
Great! Thanks
