How do you use GalNet audio?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my ship to narrate GalNet to me. I figured the option would be in GalNet somewhere, but there doesn't seem to be an option.

Yeah I think it's broken now. When you go to your playlist it says "select play to automatically populate with recent Galnet entries" when I press play nothing happens

I'm playing on Xbox One in 2020. Same issue. It clearly says in the rightmost side of the internal HUD that it will queue up automatically by pressing play... it does not.

There are likely not going to be any galnet articles till much later this year if at all moving forward. (the writers are in crunch for the 2020 update at the end of the year iirc)
However the code audio stuff still works if you are looking for something game related to listen to in game.

Yeah, GalNet has been sort of temporarily stopped for a bit, while they work on other parts of the game, and it looks like they are only going to use galnet to post about actual in game events from now on.

lots of stuff in the codex to queue up in those playlists, but you do have to add them manually.

Ah I was wondering why I was not seeing anything as I only just got back into the game. From Beta testing back in 2014.
