I'm still having the mouse cursor and screen size issue, can I fix that on my end at all or do I need to wait for a patch?
Is this solvable in the future, and if so is that an eventual goal of the team? Things are running pretty well for me on a chromebook in 1.1.6, I'm even getting a mouse pointer on my screen that moves around and is in the right place. If I'm sitting right next to my router it's coming close to a more than decent experience, only problem is a lot of dropped frames.
when I move my mouse a little, the steam link app reads it as if I've moved a lot basically making the mouse unusable.... hoping this gets fixed soon :D
Also there is no link in google play store page to here and there is no announcements in friends activity feed in client or android app providing patch note info after "following" this group and subscribing to this thread.
I am absolutely loving the Steam Link App on Nvidia SHIELD devices. Amazing job Valve . Very impressive expansion of the Steam Universe going on here!
Valve rock! :guitar:
The controller is fine even if the second pad (right) in tactile mode is not really practical for games that use it to control the camera. This is the only point I find to improve on the controller when using it with a PC.
Where I think we need to improve compatibility is with androids smartphones, the fact that the controller can natively be paired in Bluetooth is fine but the management of the controller off steam link/big picture is just non-existent. With games like pubg or fornite, not to mention all emulators like retroarch, it would be a real plus to be able to use the steam controller, and to do so without having to stream your PC.
Sincerely,
Latest patch was for 1.1.16 and not 1.1.15
Fixed, thanks!
We're waiting for fixes from Google but haven't heard back.
You're welcome. :)
