For NVIDIA users: Other forms of anti-aliasing (MSAA, SGSSAA)
Using the tool NVIDIA Inspector, it's possible to force other forms of anti-aliasing in the game (thank you BONKERS/MrBonk for finding the right flags).

MrBonk's Guru3D post with a list of anti-aliasing methods he found to work and comparison screenshots:

NVIDIA Inspector window with the settings needed for 4x SGSSAA:

Pretty much have to create a new profile, add the application (executable of the game) to the profile, and edit the marked settings in the picture.
When it comes to 8x SGSSAA, have to use 8x Multisampling, 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling and -1.5000 LOD Bias instead of the marked ones.
Also, have turn off the in-game FXAA when trying any of these.

Note: Not sure if LOD Bias is truly needed, but seems to be recommended when using SGSSAA to reduce blurring according to the page linked in the first post in this topic:

Thx dude, was looking for something like that. I'm testing it right away. ;)

Just play in 4k/2k DSR and you don't even need anti aliasing. If you have something like a 760gtx or better, it works fine in 4k

Can't do that man, i'm playing on notebook and i'm stuck with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimus sh****t i've got a 880M and even if it support 4K i can't even choose this resolution for this game.
NeoAxle 21 okt, 2015 @ 3:30
Somehow 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling works in game but causes glitches in the cutscenes.
Any suggestions please? I'm new with this kind of things.
NeoAxle 21 okt, 2015 @ 3:52
I will play it at 4x SGSSAA instead because i have no glitches anymore in nvidia inspector i haven't 8x Multisampling i have 8Qx Multisampling maybe it's why i have this problem. Anyway thanks for the advice it's still better than FXAA. :)

Huh ? If your card and display natively support 4k you should be able to select the resolution in game... I know that DSR sometimes bugs when you have a TV + Monitor (4k resolution is not "unlocked" even in windows) but I resolved this problem by disabling one monitor and reenabling it after that.

Hello again, i've just tried what you said, but still nothing maybe my screen monitor is at fault it only support 1080p. I don't understand at all, i can't go higher than 1080 while KOF XIII to 1440p.
Any ideas?
Vashe 21 okt, 2015 @ 4:28
My display (TV) is 1080P too, it's the whole point of DSR => the game resolution is higher than your screen resolution and the nvidia driver downscales it to match your actual screen resolution.

Can you select resolutions higher than 1080p in windows ?

I haven't that option, DSR is only Maxwell GPU no? I'm on Kepler a 880M GTX770 desktop equivalent. Damnit NVIDIA.....
Martin 21 okt, 2015 @ 7:31
Silly question but have you enabled DSR in the control panel? If it's off it won't give the option for higher resolutions than your monitor can handle.

There is an option in "Global settings" for DSR levels. You need to select the levels you want.

Kepler supports DSR, my wifes 780ti uses DSR.

I have a 760gtx and it supports DSR. Your card should be better than mine. Yes I had to manually enable it in the Nvidia control pannel

I've checked again and again, no DSR in nvidia control panel because i have optimus two graphic cards (integrated and dedicated) , DSR is not avaible for this specific notebook yet. (In ten years maybe it will be ;) ) You guys are talking desktop graphic cards. Anyway thanks for the advice.

Other forms of anti-aliasing may be useful for those that may want to play the game in window mode (personally I play on window mode for multi-tasking reasons).
