I hear to start in summer and near Driik. But I don't see any bushes growing berries. And throwing rocks at birds and other small animals never lands. I never encounter any large prey like elk in these massive forests either. Is there a certain weapon I'm supposed to craft and rush? A certain trap I'm supposed to spam? I can't find any food. And baiting fish & meat on fox traps and light lever traps is giving me nothing....

One of the things I noticed is that I have to use the chat to give my dog commands. This has ruined more hunting opportunities than any other thing in this game! While I'm frantically trying to find where my dog is so I can give a basic command to attack. Is there not a specific way to do that without having to use that awkward control?...

they should add a mode like dwarf fortress where we can build and manage settelments and build history/lore then be able to play as a solo character in the world

Is there a way to do it? I hear there is, and how easy it is, but then no one tells you how to do it.
