Is there a good solo player server?

I only play solo as I dont really have enough free time to play with a tribe so wondered if theres any servers that only have solo player? It would be better if it had faster taming and stuff as well. thanks

It isn't solo but right now it is a quiet server where you will have an opportunity to build up and gather recources. At most I have 4 or five people on at a time. There is only one "tribe" as well, the rest are solos.

I'd qualify that as a reason to play with a tribe, not a reason NOT to but that's just me.

Especially if you don't have muchg time, SP would be a good choice. Unlike an online server, the game world does not persist once you leave, so you don't have to worry about your stuff being gone when you can't play for a couple of days (or weeks).
You can also set all options the way you like them, some directly in the game and some in the ini files (http://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration).

Me and couple of friends are playing ark on very good server on Mysterious Island.
If you are looking for friendly community and helpful players then you are welcome join with us.
Server has very active admins and dino police to keep players busy with different tasks and events. If you got raided or someone did something wrong then you must to inform our Dino Police who will start the investigation and the raider can be prisoned or banished. The admins are over 20 year old and you dont have to scared that they going to abuse the admin powers. We have strict rules, if you losing some items, dinos thanks to game bugs, glitches etc then dino police or admins will help you spawn them back. We have players over the world, (sweden, finland, germany, belgia, iran, Estonia, USA). Server is backuped every day. So you dont have to worry about rollbacks, and we dont tolerate the wipes and offline raides. Here you can see an list of some Weekend events what we had in past.

1. 800 LVL Gigantosaurus kill - only primitive weapons allowed to use
2. Dino Paint Contenst
3. Time to stand against mighty DodoRex - At the end we had to fight against 6 DodoRex -Game bug etc.
4. Broodmother and chitin farm event - 236 patch is coming soon.
5. SOF event. - Who will arrive first to volcano (pick up snowball ) and returns back arena 3 first places will be rewarded.
6. Who is the best Gladiator - during this week.

If you would like to be a raider and like PVP actions, then you are welcome to build a base at PVP zone. Just to please be noted that we took off the GIGAS spawns to offer everyone a fair play and better defence against raiders.

Rules:

* ALL CAVES (land and water) are off limits to base building. The only structures/items that are permitted in or around caves are hide sleeping bags, single foundations with beds on them, and bridges that help make explore the caves more safe.
Please demolish all items, structures which were place before.
* Do not do a SPAWN kills, and respect naked players.
* Placing structures on mountains, close to rivers where you are preventing a significant amount of resources from re-spawning is not permitted and admin can destroy them.
* Obelisks, Caves, mountain resources must be accessible by anyone and everyone at any time.
* If you build a structure around a Dino you are taming, you must demolish ALL of it once you are finished taming.
* No offline riddings.
* No killing on sight (KOS) of other players or taming/tamed animals.
* I think i should not remind to you all, No racism, no sexism, no chat spamming, no outside server promotion.
* Turrets must be switched off while your tribe is online and on Low Range with a 4 second warning while you are offline.
* Please bring with you together a good spirit, fun and be nice! Respect Admins and players. Just don't be a ♥♥♥.
* Our Server Motto is: One for all, and all for one. If you ever need any kind of help just shoot and our family will take care of you.
* Placing structures on Death Island is not allowed, due to its a very good place for XP harvest and an lot of Supply Drops, so as y see there are a lot of good points why the Carno island must be clean.
* No cheating, hacking, duping, glitching or exploiting! (This will end up with a ban).
