Foundation stuck in rock, any tricks to get it out?

My own server. I've tried to look up how to get to it, but everything I find says if it's official you're screwed. I'm not on official, it's my own server. I tried to get them low and used a cliff nearby to lower it, then realized it was TOO low and now I can't click on them. Any tricks? I've even tried looking at them and using the cheat to destroy target. No go.

Let's you phase through objects. This should let you target it better.

S+ demo gun also seems to penetrate through terrain fairly reliably to pick up undermeshed structures.

Make sure to do ' cheat walk ' when you're done to get out of ghost mode, and never ever go in water when in Ghost Mode. (Edit: Or mount an Pet)

Ghost mode is great when used on your own server to run water pipes as well down to the Water Table when you're not near any water.

Ghost mode is great when used on your own server to run water pipes as well down to the Water Table when you're not near any water.

If you use S+, you can turn on a feature that allows the water intake to be placed anywhere and still tap into water. Meaning, no more needing to go ghost just to run a pipe down to the water line.

If you are using S+ you can create a demo gun and just remove it. The demo gun works on foundations that are under the ground mesh.

Thanks for all the replies folks. This information along with the foundations anywhere mod should let me build in the ragnarok hidden cave. Edit: Looks like the stackable foundations don't let me build them out, just stack them higher. Not sure what use that will be. Anyone know of a mod that lets you install struts or something to build foundations out over cliffs?

there are engrams for cliff and tree platforms in the game already. you might have to force the engrams to learn via admin commands if you are on ragnarok as i think they are learned on extinction and abberation only.

Structures plus has .ini lines to allow floating structures.

There is also Platforms Plus.

I was about to suggest that mod.

Timmy, if you don't want a large mod like Structures+ that adds a lot of items you may never use or just don't want such a large mod, there are a couple of alternatives to help with building that are very tiny.

I would like to second the Builder's Helmet and Builder's Improvements mods. I find them near necessary when the server does not have Structures Plus installed.

Heck Yeah, especially on a server. All those Grab Seeks from the work tables, egg collector, poop collectors that Structures Plus has can eventually lag a server if there are a lot of them. I found that out over a year ago when I had my own server

I found the builders helmet mod a couple weeks ago, and I agree it was awesome. No more wasting resources because it didn't snap in the right spot. Edit: Oh wow, that builders improvements extends the foundation strength out to 16 instead of 2, that's probably all I need.
