So you're probably wondering: Why is the title in all caps? Why do you think the pegomaxstax is broken?

When I was away on a metal trip, my level 85 bronto, which had 9k health, was outside my tiny little pen. Big deal right? Im in a safe area, nothing could kill it, its on Neutral. Then I come home. It's dead. I look in the log. KILLED BY A PEGO. ♥♥♥♥ING MAXSTAX.

Now I'm MAD because of the fact that it took 4 hours to tame it, at level 60.

Now devs, FIX THE PEGOMASTAX. HOW DOES A TINY CREATURE KILL A BRONTO THAT IS LITERALLY 20x ITS OWN SIZE FOR NO APPARENT REASON? LIKE WHAT?

Fix the fact. That DESPITE WHETHER OR NOT YOUR DINOS ARE ON NEUTRAL, They WILL NOT defend themselves against pegomastax. Pegomastax will RANDOMLY attack your dinos for no apparent reason when they get too close. I don't understand why this was never patched, or why it was even added. FIX THIS ♥♥♥♥ NOW.

Guys i will tell u something.. tame one and you can do the same to other dinos wild or enemies. Use it to ur advantage. Tamed pego won't be attacked the same way as wild pegos aren't. I just found it and i'm in love.. but it's definetly a game breaker couse it's just a few berries and few minutes to tame it and you can even kill anything couse it won't retaliate.

Maybe if you do this on PvP the mass complainings will make pegos fixed.

Punishment for not being careful with your dinos.. Sorry to say that but dont leave your dinos outside unattended. Sorry for your loss but in this game you will lose your precious dinos. I lost several lvl200 + Pteras, Raptors, Trikes etc. The game is punishing every mistake. You lose your stuff, your tames etc.

Only thing I can agree with is them not spawning in groups cause thats a pain in the ass to get all of them back if youre not on a mount or have a few around you. If youre on foot, keep mejo or some other berries in your 0 slot so it will always just grab that instead of your ascendant bow or rifle :'D LIke some dude yesterday. Was yelling like crazy cause he lost it.

This game gets more and more dangerous and thats totally fine cause... its a survival game.. it has to be difficult.
(But yeah bugs are the things that really ruin your fun)

You all seem to be ignoring the fact that a small little f*cking rat gnome mugger, thats about the size of a dilo, can just come up to your BIG ASS dinosaurs andf do WHATEVER THEY WANT without being noticed. That is literally the most broken game mechanic I've ever seen.

And don't talk to me about loss. I have had this game since day one, with 2,300+ hours. I would have been completely fine if a REX killed my bronto, or any ACTUAL carnivore. But the fact that a broken, unbalanced f*cking keemstar comes along and can just MURDER something that big? no. f*ck off wildcard.

Ah, the dulcet tones of of barking. I won't quote you, Dawg, just in case you want to change (or delete...delete is an option, too) that nice reply of yours, but I will say that if it is true that creatures will not fight back against the pego, it has zero to do with game difficulty. It is a bug. So whether or not you could have killed the bronto with a different creature has no relevance here. Thanks. :)

If you have other dinos following you they will be alerted if a pego comes to steal your stuff and attack it before it can steal anything. We made our base in an area that has tons of pegos and now my sister has begun taking a dilo or two out with her when she goes out to collect stuff and she hasn't had any problems since.

Personally, I think they are an annoying (initially) but actually quite interesting addition to the game.

I've never had a pego attack, let alone kill, any of my dinos so I don't really know why that would happen. Must be a glitch.

Also if you go out with Dinos and they kill the Pego they have your stuff on them. Atleast if you have "looting" on. Remember you are a tiny human, its dangerous to go alone, take this: 20 Pteras to kill your enemys.

Can't believe nobody in this thread has mentioned the recent bronto damage range nerf...I'd guess that's why the pegleg could kill it, the bronto probably tried to fight back but couldn't hit the thing because it was so small.

While I agree that the peglegs need a nerf (I've removed them from my single player games, only the second dino which I have deleted, the other being the giga), perhaps the real issue here is that the bronto has been ground into the earth so much that it is now pretty much unusable. Both are issues that desperately need fixing.

Idk if they need a nerf but it sounds like theres a bug that prevents neutral dinos from defending against it. If they fix that, it should b all good.

One of these little guys just killed a Neutral Rex we have guarding our base. Odd.

We had a Pego spawn inside our base and attack a rex, also when outside I had one chasing me, when it got out of range it turned and attacked my bronto. So I can confirm they attack other dinos for no apparent reason. Official PVE server
