Dino level up dance animations

Any way to turn these off?

I would love that aswell, such a waste of time. Level up, oh let me place a skill point and go back to what I am doing, NOPE! My animal slave needs to dance before getting back to work. GG

You can cancel the animation by making your Dino deficate or jump.
Not a fix - but a work around.

Of course, only works with dinos you can ride.

btw of topic but who else has tested any slow dino like doedicurus with 400%+ speed? its insanely fast swimmer :3

Or if the dino is in water they won't do the animation either, same with flying.

What is so hard about waiting till in a safe place to level your dino? This has never, ever been a issue for me.

I'd have to agree. People do seem insistant on levelling their dino in the middle of a fight. While I do admit that it's a bit unrealistic and immersion-breaking to have your dino dancing merrily while having it's face eaten off by a rex, I wouldn't be in favor of removing the animations because they penalise levelling up at the wrong time. Rather I'd prefer a system where, if a dino gets hit during an animation, it cancels the cellebration but looks dazed and stunned for a second or two, and can't move/attack.

I think it has more to do with getting caught unaware while levelling. Honestly, I'd remove the animation just because it's time consuming and the level-up message is annoying.

I hear you about being caught unaware, but isn't that all part and parcel of a survival game - to be constantly aware of one's surroundings and when it is/isn't safe?

I had my sarco do his level up snap of his jaw as a dino flew right into it.
The bird ended up being stuck under the ground after that.

I personally agree, I've never been attacked while levelling. I wanted to dispute your belief that people would level their dino mid-fight, which I thought was a little bit unrealistic. I apologize, I shouldn't have quoted all of your previous post ><

Beats me, I typically level in a safe place so that's not the issue. I just get tired of seeing the dino dance when I level. Just an annoying thing I'd like to turn off so was curious if it was possible. Guessing it's not. Oh well.

Or u could be harvesting resources think it's safe level up and be attacked out of the blue
