well for the people whgo want different keys theres this amazing thing called rebinding keys :O Its an amazing concept!
Not possible. Currently the ride option is hidden away in the radial menu, that's the only way to access it. The default action for the dino (E) is 'Take Oxygen', in contrast to the default action for every other dino in the game being 'Ride'.
He's talking about the dino default action, when you look at it and press E. That can't be remapped in the options menu. And if it could, that would then break the 'Ride' default option for all other dinos.
That moment when you realize you're being sarcastic and condescending and have no idea what you're talking about.
Try that with the diplocaulus. It's in the title of the thread after all...
Post has been necrod but its still a valid issue...
I also love the above post... its soo true and becoming more evident every day.
People need to really start reading posts instead of assuming what they say.

Not Diplodocus

again it would be great if people read the post instead of assuming.
However names are stupid close so understandable to confuse them :)
Jumping on the thing gives you air anyway, so even if you selected to ride you'd still get what you need. And in truth, who goes into the water without paying close attention to their oxygen? The number of times I've died from drowning on this game is very, very few, but the number of times I've died or been close to death from a sudden attack is much higher.
It's good to have the 'Take Oxygen' option, but in reality the only time one needs it is if they're doing some work underwater and needs an oxy source nearby so they don't need to go back to the surface every few minutes. And in cases like that, having the option on the radial menu works just as well.
