Baby Settings Help Request

What I am trying to do is set up my server with the correct baby settings to meet my needs. What I am trying to achieve is make egg hatching and baby maturing faster but still be able to imprint 100%.

Now forgive me, I understand that this has been asked 1 billion times but I'm gonna ask 1 more time and this is because I can't seem to wrap my tiny little brain around the settings and how much they are changed.

The settings below are what I have my server set to atm.

BabyImprintingStatScaleMultiplier = 1.00
How much of an effect on stats the imprinting quality has.
Set it to 0 to effectively disable the system.
--Note: I understand this 100% completely. Just posting it for reference.

BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier = 0.05
How often babies wanna cuddle.
More often means you'll need to cuddle with them more frequently to gain imprinting quality.
--Note: Now I understand this one but I'm not sure how much it changes or effects with other settings. I believe this affects how fast I can imprint on said dino while the baby is maturing.

BabyCuddleGracePeriodMultiplier = 5.00
A multiplier on how long after delaying cuddling with the baby before imprinting quality starts to decrease.
--Note: It is this stat and the next one are what I'm having trouble understanding. I have an assumption on what this means but I can't quite put it to words atm. Trying to understand all of this is causing me a headache.

BabyCuddleLoseImprintQualitySpeedMultiplier = 0.1
A multiplayer on how fast the imprinting quality decreases after the grace period if you haven't yet cuddled with the baby.
Note: I don't quite understand this what how GracePeriod and this interact with each other. I'm assuming that it means if I have a 60% imprint quality it will start going down like 59%-58%-Etc.

Note: The following below are just for reference and are the current settings of my server.

MatingIntervalMultiplier = 0.01
EggHatchSpeedMultiplier = 32.00
LayEggIntervalMultiplier = 0.03
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier = 100.00
BabyFoodConsumptionSpeedMultiplier = 1.00

Now my head hurts even worse but I still have my goals!

What exactly I'm trying to achieve is fast baby growth time while keeping imprinting quality to 100%. For example, I would like the max mature speed of a baby dino to about 1 to 2 hours and be able to have him 100% imprinted quality.

Hopefully, someone can clear things up for me and properly explain things to me.

You are broadly correct in your understanding of those fields. The cuddle grace period defines how soon after the start of a care session the dino begins to lose imprint quality if it's care is not met, while the lose imprint quality speed stat defines how quickly the imprint drops once it begins to fall.

I have heard say that the devs have recently decided to remove those features, so the config arguments now have no meaning and imprint quality will not degrade, but I don't know how accurate that statement is. I haven't seen it in patch notes.

With regard to the settings - it's difficult because imprint percentage cannot be defined by it's own separate multiplier. Rather it takes into account the baby's maturation time and the cuddle interval multiplier, then works out the number of imprints you will get within the time it takes the baby to mature, and assigns a percentage to each cuddle which should get you up to 100% imprint so long as you fulfil the baby's needs in a reasonably quick time.

In practice, though, it isn't always accurate, so any adjustment to the baby's maturation time and/or the cuddle interval can potentially end up with 100% imprint being impossible. You just have to set the maturation time to whatever you feel is reasonable for your playstyle, then setup the cuddle interval to allow you a reasonable number of cuddles within that time, and hope that the game's maths work it out correctly.

There was a topic on this board a while back where someone had worked out all the cuddle interval and maturation time settings and put them into a spreadsheet, so you could figure out the real time hours it would take for dinos to mature, and the likely percentage imprint you would get on them. I'm afraid I can't recall who made it, but if you search the forum or google you might be able to get hold of it, and it may help you find your ideal settings.

In the meantime, I'll post up the ones we use on our private server and in my solo games here. It's set up so that small creatures like dilos only take a few minutes to mature, while the biggest creatures like gigas and quetzals take around 4 hours. Imprinting on anything small doesn't always get 100%, but usually allows for 90%+, and larger dinos such as spinos, theris and rexes should be able to get 100% without too much issue.

If you do these four I posted here, a Trex will grow and give time for 100% imprint with in 1:40 (one hour, 40 minutes). The Giga takes longer of course but possible to 100% imprint; I did it. Even a Bronto is good on these settings as well as anything below it. The Giga and Bronto are close to the end of mature to get the 100% imprint so be on top of it. I used to have cuddle at .03 but the bronto would not make it to the end at 100% so I changed it to the .04. Everything else, even Wyverns, work at these settings.

BabyCuddleGracePeriodMultiplier=50.0 ***

***With cuddlegraceperiod setting so high, there is no need for the loseimprintquality setting.

MatingIntervalMultiplier=0.05 is up to you. Currently you have it at .01 and that is ok.
LayEggIntervalMultiplier = 0.03 has nothing to do with breeding. Good for kibble farm.

You have to time your mature speed with the cuddleinterval for 100% imprint. Try what I posted and you can make really small tweaks from there is you want to take mature speed up. Remember, mature speed increase (faster) = cuddle interval lower (also faster).
