EU5 is just too much for me
I like the idea of the game basically, but just cant enjoy it after 60 hours.

they took the idea to mix EU, Vic and CK aspects which is cool in base idea but. I dont find my dope in it. I could flip ON automation for some mech that i dont want to manage, but it just ruin the interest. and i really feel like a lot of criticize of paradox games "its just you looking at the map and waiting in x4 speed".

I had a damn load of fun on EU4 for its accessibility and "easy to learn, hard to master" type of game.

but 5 doesnt really give me the same vibe.

for a long time i tought that mixing up mechs of most my favourite PDX games was a good idea, but in fact i still prefer to download a game by aspect i want to play.

I needed to say it, even if it hasnt any interest to. Ill go back to Vic

I can understand you but personally for me EU5 is way more fun. I player eu4 on older accs and i just played as every country and finished like almost every mission tree. Eu5 gives you way more content and replayability, compelxity that eu4 could've ever given, i dont use automatisation nowhere except for trade and its fun

Where do you see the content, replayability, and complexity in EU5? I had the opposite experience. I stopped playing when I found that no matter which tag you play in EU5, it is always the exact same strategy. It boiled down to economic micromanagement, specifically which buildings to upgrade in which order. There is more to the game, sure, but everything else is trivial. The most skilled EU5 player in every aspect of the game but economy will be mercilessly beaten by an EU5 player who is great at the economy but sucks at everything else. In EU4, it was possible to be not great at one aspect of the game, but still win because you were really good at something else.
