I stay and play with 1.3.11 since months

I'm still on 1.3.11, since I'd like to finish the game I have. I'm just not sure when I'll get back to it at this point. It recently hit me and stuck with me that me that all the frustration, and all the days spent waiting, checking news for bug fixes and balancing updates etc. just so I could feel like {Insert Paradox game here} is in a "good" state, that there is never REALLY going a stable, non-early access feeling game there until dev support for the game in question is dropped.

Basically, so long as they need to keep pumping out paid content every few months things aren't going to change for the better, at least not for long. And I've just sort of moved on to other games until I miss the urge to play the PDX games/content I already have. I'm tired of paying to beta test.

daily ticks sucks. game is faster, yeah but daily ticks just dont feel smooth at all. i really dont like it.

aside from that 1.4 is a major update to 1.3.

many things broken in 1.3 were so because in 1.4 the content came out. i dont mean DLC content but just stuff they didnt have at release.


i dont know how i feel about the mappainting boost they added but i can handle that.
