Save game takes too long

[asanli]

Playing ironwill, game saves take too long. My high end machine gets stuck on each save. Any ways to prevent this? I'm using cloud saves.

Dont use ironman. It doesnt have a point to exist anyway since they made achievements unlockable in normal mode.

Could be the cloud, these can be very unreliable.

surely come from cloud save, still even in local it can take a while, but it definitely take way longer with cloud save

I ended up not playing ironman, idk what is the purpose anymore. As someone mentioned, achievements seem to be available regardless.
