Soldier Pops represent Levies?

Do the soldier pops effect how many Levies you can muster? Or are the Local soldier pop you get by villages useless?

Levies come off from Peasants the most useless pop you have. Noble Knights from Nobles.

Depends what you have researched afaik "men at arms" are raised by a % of your overall soldiers. But those might be the only ones, gotta look through the research.

Soldier pops are the manpower you use for professional troops. They aren't related to levies. Guess the garrisons of forts (castles etc.) are also displayed as soldiers. Don't know

As others have said, manpower represents how many professional regiments you can recruit.

No, that is not true. Soldiers are type of pops, just like Clergy or Peasants. As far I understand they work in the military buildings like Armories.

Manpower is totally different type of resource, not related to Soldiers pops.

Should you worry about your Soldiers? Nope. They appear when needed.
