How do you abandon ship?

I've seen people do it in videos, but I don't see a command for it anywhere.

You have to ground the ship first, and then the command appears.

order 'ground ship',

when it is touching the ground,

a button on the bar that says abandon ship will appear. non airships at any time will be able to do this because they are already grounded...

I've done the grounding ship command, and the button still does not appear even when my ship is on the ground.

Does the abandon ship command appear in the base toolbar, or is it in a sub-menu once the ship has been grounded? Just making sure where to take the screenshot.

I grounded the ship and looked everywhere; I can't find the button anywhere.

hmm... it looks like your ship thinks it's still in the air.... that or the abandon ship button is the same as the grounding button, it has been a while since i had time to play...

it doesn't gain me anything in the battle, and transfer crew hasn't either
