Steam Deck Support at Launch

Many of you have been asking about Steam Deck. We are happy to say that we are supporting Steam Deck at launch and are currently awaiting the level of classification from Valve. More info to come soon.

Поставте в налаштуваннях гри сумісність з протон.

Cant get past load screen with Yasuke. It makes my deck crash every time, needing a hard reset.

Yeah, my game freezes and crashes after the first opening scene so I can't even get into the menu where you start a new game. I am using arch linux on a high end pc so maybe proton has some issues with the game right now. I have tried multiple proton versions.

Supporting a handheld like the Steam Deck mean be able to launch the single-player games offline, "feature" that Ubisoft was able to break 3 months ago and still hasn't fixed yet! And still advertising as the issue doesn't exist.

I am playing on Arch right now, had zero troubles. The only "configuration" I did before even starting the game was enabling gamemode on the launch options.

Yeah, seems to be an issue with the nvidia driver, haven't been able to check if the nvidia vulkan beta driver fixes it since denuvo blocked me after switching too many times between proton versions. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8543

No offline mode should immediately disqualify for being 'verified'. As others have reported, the 'go offline' for their proprietary launcher does not work, even though ubisofts own website claims the launcher has an offline mode.

Does not even include the "requires an active internet connection to play single player' blurb that other similar games get on the store page. Shame on valve for allowing a major release like this to conveniently avoid those things. The 'verified' badge has been suspect since the beginning but they've obviously been stretching the credibility paper thin just to be able to use more triple A games to push the hardware in advertisements.

And to add to all this, no graphics options on steam deck. They're just not available. I imagine the entire game is probably dropped to the lowest possible settings, but at least give us the opportunity to alter them if we don't like something.

I am liking the game on my PC, but anyone looking to get this game specifically for a steamdeck be aware:

It hard locks at 30fps with no option to change that, no graphics options, no offline mode. The combat is also sluggish compared to PC due to input lag / frame times, but you can probably just get used to that.
