Yes, it works around corners.
That is not a subjective opinion, it's just straight up fact.
Sniper elite 4 is about tactically eliminating targets that are unaware of your position. Think old-fashioned stealth games. You should never, EVER be in protracted gunfights on any difficulty. If someone is shooting at you, you should be cutting and running in the opposite direction at top speed and trying to find somewhere to hide while you regain your advantages, which are range and unseen fire.
You can fire one or two rounds unsuppressed and outside of sound cover like explosions and ♥♥♥♥, before the enemy pinpoints where you are.
Sniper elite is about doing crazy ♥♥♥♥ like planting a trap for a passing vehicle, and when it passes, you put a round in a sentry's head using the explosion to mask your shot so that nobody notices that the guy in the tower is now dead.
Sniper elite is not running up to corners with assault rifles and 'leaning around them' to fire. Even on easy mode that's going to get you killed.
Using a mouse to peak around corners , crap gaming to me .
Fun Enforcement?
What are you smoking? I run and gunned with rifle and smg the second level on authentic plus with little to no problem.
Its a thirdperson game, it has snap to cover and pop/peak out mechanics but no leaning, you can however now switch shoulders for the thirdperson camera.
