Problems with blood chalice
I'm pretty much always in a position where the stronger I get, the harder this one is to complete. Simply put, I'm killing everything long before it reaches the circle. Either the circle needs to be way bigger, or it needs to give kill credits just for you being in the circle and not the mobs.

If you're killing them too quickly before they get into the circle just toggle your aim and face away from them until they're within the circle, then toggle it back.
If your build is overpower and you have problem with killing mobs in the circle, the best solution is to switch aiming to auto-in cone for a moment using shortcut (R3 or F on keyboard [you can change that button])
There will be a separate event in the future where you will have to stand in the circle.

Just want to support you and tell you are not alone about Chalice, where simply 1 pack could spawn in its radius and about Reversal movement event which is annoying, but I also just asked timer icon like debuff (instead of skull with bones).
All suggestions were made in Discord already, didn't want to repeat it, just letting you know that there are on your side :melsalute:

That's unfortunate...having to constantly toggle my aiming is less than ideal.

What would you rather? Having the player forced to stand in the circle and attack mobs is an entirely different mechanic altogether.

That is an extremely easy thing to do to achieve what you want; to let the enemies close in to the circle before attacking them. Click F, turn away, click f; simple.

It's not simple at all when attacking one mob in any direction clears half the room.

It's extremely simple. Toggle your aim method with F on keyboard or R3 on controller, then face away from ALL enemies you want to attack in the circle until they're IN the circle and THEN toggle your aim again. It's impossible to hit those enemies once your aim is toggled, the toggle makes you aim in a cone. Face the cone AWAY from the enemies outside of the circle. Try it.

There is nothing else to say here, it's a very simple concept. Unless you try the method that works nothing is going to change. Changing the mechanic would not "fix" it because the mechanic is intentional and not broken.

The mechanic might be intentional and not broken but that doesn't change the fact that it is flawed as hell. Only game i remember rn is Diablo 4 which also has stupid events like that and everyone hates them because just looking in the direction of enemies clears the room.

It's a dumb mechanic that serves no purpose other than to annoy. It disrupts the gameplay that has been established for no reason.

You clearly can't read.

Edit: Just to be clear, I can be facing a freaking wall and if anything happens to pass in front of me, half the screen is dead.
