Silent Sister
So I have been loving the game so far. There was a bit of a learning curve, but I think I have it now, but I wanted to point out something I found strange. Silent Sister is the only character who is nerfed by some of the permanent buffs you can take. She looses dodge chance if you have any of the armor perks unlocked. I guess once you get everything else unlocked you could just refund them before doing a Silent Sister run then rebuy them after, but it just feels weird.

Just my oppinion but...she sucks....really bad. Armor is so much better then Dodge. Inferno 4 Boss is able to onehit her without proper armor
Yeah, armor is much more consitent than dodge. Unless you have near 100% dodge, you're always at risk of dying to roll of the dice.

I just ignore her passive, bulk her up :D
Don't forget that she gets 1% Damage for each Doge%, even over cap and 4 Doge for each negative Armor. So -50 Armor = +200% Damage.
You only need Armor if the enemies live long enough to damage you.
I found the key to running Silent Sister are either don't negate your armor *too* much, OR stack up on a LOT of Vitality. I learned this the hard way after getting to the final boss in a run, and getting one shot by an unlucky roll with only 80 vitality, and -18 armor.

Armor in this game works by percent damage increase/decrease, not by flat integers.
The t3 perk that hard forces your armor to zero can also be very good, it both lets you take prayers which give small amounts of +armor without having them come with a big minus damage side effect (the +range/+armor/-holy damage t2 one is one I often want to have on silent sister) and, while it gets rid of the benefit from deep negative armor, it also lets you take as many of the good dodge prayers with -armor drawbacks as you want without accumulating any more of a penalty to survivability.

Also at least at the moment you probably want to replace the 2 least useful prayers in a silent sister loadout with the two t1 base armor prayers (since those are the two she'll never see) instead of refunding them - it's like virtually buffing your minimum prayer count to 58 instead of 60.
The idea behind the loadouts is to have one specific to each build you want to use. So, for the Silent Sister you would use a build that doesn't have any positive armour perks or passives. She is very competent on inferno and does a ton of damage. She also has a ton of survivability with dodge, skill cooldown on kill, health steal, fire rate on skill use, and increasing her health. There are a few perks that work really well with her, you just need to decrease the pool enough to where they show up more often.

Each character has their own thing they do, her's isn't better or worse than any other. If you prefer using Armour then maybe play Custos more. The Martyr has a ton of survivability, too, if you know how to play him. I got the Single Purpose and No Doom Remains achievements with him.
