NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation

NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation

Happy 10th anniversary NoLimits 2!
It has been 10 years since NoLimits 2 was released.

I've been there from day one and I loved every single day of it.
Thanks NL2 team for the countless hours of roller coaster madness I had to enjoy with you!

How long are you a part of this journey?

I've been using NL1 since 2008 (until the end of 2013, as I saw no reason to make anymore NL1 coasters after NL2 came out) but didn't upload any videos of it until 2009 and uploaded videos probably more frequently than I really should have. Still wasn't really (consistently) good at smoothing or had any concept of shaping at all but there were some salvageable ideas. Near the beginning of 2012 I had deleted all the NL1 videos I had up to that point (which I kinda sorta regretted since a few of them had over 10,000 views). I had reuploaded only a handful of them (some of which were some of the same ones that had over 10,000 views but they didn't get nearly the same viewership they had before) and I'd also made some remakes of some of them in NL2.
Kinda disappointed that the NL2 team didn't release a milestone update.

I purchased NoLimits 1 back in 2002, I remember all the major updates back in the day, when wooden coasters come for the first time, the big 1.6 update and many others, it has been a long journey for sure!!

When everyone is flexing about NL1 I'll join the party too.
My first NoLimits Video was uploaded on: Nov 29, 2009.

The journey began much earlier than that somewhere towards the end of 2007 when I downloaded the NL1 demo and spent endless hours *trying* to understand the editor and riding my rides in Wireframe view. - Anyone remembers testing coasters in editor? :)

It took two years until i finally came across a physical Astragon copy of "Achterbahn Simulator 2009", and over were the days of wireframe coasters.

It's crazy seeing this software accompanying me through more than half of my life.

Damn, .. a few oldschoolers here :D Great to see!!! .. yeah i am remember the BIG Update 1.6, too .. was a milestone in itself. I think i have still some very old (first) coasters on rct-world.com available (at least i found some, there).

@Greneey: Yes, i remember the wireframe testing in the editor :D I also remember how easy it was, to make simple 3D objects with the object creator or construction kit xD And then sketchup came along .. at the same time, rct3 modders were using an early version of blender already and animating custom flatrides.
So many, good memories of this time and yes,.. time flew by. I also can´t believe it´s already THAT long but i don´t regret any second of it =)
I've been part of the journey since the release date of NL2.
