🌳 Creative Mode Is on the Horizon

One thing we’ve heard loud and clear from you: “Let us build our dream tree homes without limits!” Well, guess what? We listened! And we’re beyond excited to say that Creative Mode is on the way! 🎉 In this mode, it’s all about wild imagination and zero restrictions. No resource gathering, no crafting requirements - Just you and your ideas! 🌳✨ We’ll be sharing more as we get closer to launch, so keep your eyes peeled!

🎮 Customizable Controls Incoming

Keyboard remapping has been another highly requested feature from the community. We totally agree and are making it happen. We are testing internally to iron out any bugs and aim to release an update with it as soon as we can.

🎮 Steam Deck and Ongoing Bug Fixes

We continue to optimize for Steam Deck with the goal of a great experience to go with getting the full "Verified" badge. Also, we want the game to run smoothly for everyone so please send in any issues you have in our Discord[link] or on Steam Discussions.

Co-op bugs!

Firstly, just wanted to say the game is extremely cute and fun! Really hope you guys can polish up the bugs and release additional content as this really has lots of potential!

Secondly, just wanted to share a few things me and my co-op partner encountered that may or may not have been mentioned (note: I am the host): - my partner while dismantling items caused the game to crash (UE Error), we tested multiple times to see what caused it and concluded it was definitely from his end - r...

Hey Squirrels! 🐿️

A new, smaller patch has just landed! While this update is primarily focused on behind-the-scenes work as we prepare for Steam Deck verification, we’ve also included a few bug fixes to improve your overall experience. We also want to highlight that we are currently working on adding remappable controls for both mouse & keyboard and controllers. Read the full patch notes down below! 👇

Patch Notes

🔁 Changes:

Options should save locally now instead of across the cloud.

🪲 Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue with the "Squirrelympic" achievement where the host wouldn't receive it in co-op play.
Fixed an issue affecting the "Take Me to the River" achievement.
Fixed an issue with the "Energy Quantified" achievement that allowed it to be unlocked without carrying the plank.
Improved UI readability on 16:10 aspect ratio screens, particularly for Steam Deck users.
Fixed a bug where clients could receive duplicate quest reward items from NPCs.
Improved the dog walking animations for smoother movement.
Corrected a minor visual issue with an icon.

[SOLVED] Bug causing save file corruption and disappearing buildings.

This has been solved with the latest update and should not happen anymore. Make sure your game is up to date. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience while we worked on the fix. And also thank you all for sharing the information with us and for staying with us even through this....

Woooow! You continue to deliver the creative goods! Thank you so much for being such an amazing community! ❤️✨

After much deliberation, we’ve selected the two creations that stood out the most - Congratulations to Kitty Kat Devil (post on X), Agnė (Post on Youtube) and Alex (post on X) ! 🙌🎉

🌿 Kitty Kat Devil[x.com] opened up their floor plan to give nature a more natural spot in their cozy house. You can even sniff the flowers from inside.
🌳 Agnė took the oak tree into a new direction with multiple levels of coziness. They even created a beautiful restaurant inside!
🏡 Alex[x.com] and their partner built a beautiful family home with a breathtaking view. We could relax and stare into the sky from there everyday!

Stack size...please increase 🥺

Any chance to consider increasing all the stack sizes? (つ╥﹏╥)つ I'm sure there was a design decision for it but some items it's frustrating, like 4 for crafted food. Games like this I love to just explore and gather. I return home end up having to drop things on the ground and go back out for sticks to make planks and drop another chest. The Some annoyance of limitation takes from the cozy vibe. Perhaps I am alone in this thought, or maybe I just try to stockpile too much....

controller support?

Will you be able to play it with a controller at some point? I have to say, this type of game is more relaxing with a controller than with a mouse and keyboard. I played the demo (I don't know if the full version has it and only the demo doesn't). Since I'm only going by the demo, what I miss is that you can't play it with a controller, which is a shame....

I don't usually play "cozy" games. However due to my obsessive love for squirrels a friend gifted me this game and it would have been rude not to play it. I absolutely loved it and i was truly gutted when i popped the last achievement on it.

Hopefully they add a few more in the future so i have a reason to load this gem up again.

There is only ONE thing negative i could say about this game and that was the lack of fast travel at times.
