However it's great to know which languages people would like to see supported, so that we know which translations to focus on if we bring Renowned Explorers to new languages.
We tried to focus the story telling on visuals and character emotion and put the important text in the choices only. This means you can play the game without reading all of the text, but some knowledge of English is definitely important in this first version.
+1 for Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
I worked hard in the Reus translation into Spanish via Crowdin.
It was a great experience, and let us, the players, enjoy the game in our languages.
I hope you let us cooperate in a similar way with RE:IS :)
Yeah, pretty much; English is the lingua franca of video gaming. Consider it an opportunity to learn a new language, like many of us did for whom English is not our native language.
That's demonstrably untrue, but okay. I'm sure translations are forthcoming for you people who can't be bothered to learn some basic English, but keep in mind this isn't exactly a AAA studio.
PS : thanks for this great game ! A bit too hard, but great. :)
Entusiasts (if there will be enough of them) probably will find the way to extract and put texts in anyway, but you can speed it up and presumably win from it.
