In a way it's actually a good thing, considering you get infinite exp farming from them instead of having to botch it lose resourcess and having to wait for the wool to grow back, but it's also kind of sad to watch
Maybe. Somebody went in and set a minimum of 10% on animal gather speed, that appears to not be fast enough to finish an action. One would naturally assume that minimum speed was picked for a reason and with some test to see if it functioned or not. Skill 0 is 10%, skill 1 is 16% which makes gathering possible.
Not even archotech arms can make skill 0 faster than 10% speed, the actual value is 4% and that is what is multiplied by global work speed or manipulation bonuses, so you'd need like +200% speed to turn that 4% into 12%.
It's not unusual for skill 0 to be basically useless. Though this interaction does seem a bit weird. I was able to replicate it with normal pawns at 0 skill, so it's not a mod or gene issue.
