No Options?

Whenever I try make a new engine family or a new model, everything is blank, all the UI has loaded but no options for select engine config or car shape etc. Its also stuck in 2016 and can't be changed?

Hey! Sorry about that, it seems like the patch yesterday only fixed part of the issues we had. It would be awesome if you could email your database to us so we can take a look at what is going on there, that would be super helpful.

You find the database file in \Camso\Documents\My Games\Automation
the file is called Sandbox_openbeta.db
the email address is [e-mail]

also very useful is the log file. You find that by pasting this link including the % into your windows explorer path bar and hitting enter:
%localappdata%\AutomationGame\Saved\Logs

Once you have sent the info, you can "repair" the game by simply (re-)moving your "Sandbox_openbeta.db" database file. Then when the patch is out, you can move it back into the folder (\Documents\My Games\Automation) and it will bring back the previous cars but would overwrite any new ones you've built since removing the other db file.

Hey Killrob, yes I'm still having the same problem as well. I sent the logs via email. I will try removing the "Sandbox_openbeta.db" database file and see if that helps.

I also don't know 100% if my steam has downloaded the latest patch. I'll look into it now.

Sure, but you need to be specific about what the problems are and when they occur. Also make sure to verify your game files to rule out it is just some file corruption.

I'm having the same problem as the original as well. I can see any of the body models or chassis and it is stuck on 2016. When I check any of the arrows they pop up and I can see them but then they dissappear. Would be greatly appreciated if you could help me out thanks.

That is most likely windows protected folders blocking the game. There is a thread about it and how to fix it. Lemme grab the link for you:

So I whitelisted the .exe and I was still having the same problem so then I ran the application as an admin like the link said and it works perfectly thank you so much
