Also, yes, I'd say the first form is harder since if you don't get a good pattern for his paradigms you'll have to camp in sentinel mode for 10-60 minutes. The bahamut mode is simple, but insanely boring with attack/attack/defend pattern repeating over and over and over.
Funny enough, the paradox fight against him with Serah was a breeze. Used Medic once maybe in the entire time? I read everywhere it's supposed to be a torture, don't see why. You have a monster to help you. Wouldn't be surprised if SEN+Chichu would wreck him faster than I did.
Which fight is that? You mean in the Void Beyond? Right after talking to the 5 different Yules? I'm really not sure what's difficult in that paradox ending fight. I actually beat it first time with some mod I'm using to increase enemy HP by 4 and damage by 2, so I really can't see the difficulty in that fight.
The Lightning vs Caius lv.0 is something else though. Note that I do mean lv."zero" and not lv.1
Lv.0 is unlocked after unlocking lv.10 and killing him at least once, from my understanding.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm at 15 FPS in this fight, but many of his attacks drop me to below 10... I don't find Caius phase difficult though, just long - I actually don't use a single potion for that phase. Once you understand the pattern of the attacks everything is pretty much obvious and predictable. You still have to be focus to not miss a paradigm swicth at the wrong time though, or you could get OS/2shot.
Phase 2 is more challenging to me. It's pretty straighforward as well once you've got the pattern of the attacks, but then again, no room for the slightest mistake, especially below 40% HP. And towards the very end, he sometimes do a surprise attack after the area phase. I totally wasn't expecting it after staggering it, so I went all in and he pretty much OS'd me...
Will try again tonight, I don't have a whole hour to spend on it right now, :)
Here's a video of a level 0 fight cleared (without items either!):

That fight is cake, Paradox Scope or not. Just poison him until it sticks, and then attack/tank/heal as necessary.
i don't see a reason to be proud from this...
maybe for you but for me it was hard as hell when i activated paradox scope for the first time.
You must have been totally underleveled then, because that fight is not comparable to lv.0.
Nice job! It's certainly doable since every attack is avoidable.
the hardest fights are the DLC fights.
Are you just trolling or you're actually serious?
