I figured it out. The PC netcode has always worked, at least it did 2 years ago. The trick is to use Logmein Hamachi so you can be on the same network for internet games. LAN games freeze with the expansion (not sure if it works on the base game). Search for the host's Hamachi IP and you'll find the game. I didn't test it with the new classes but it did with the two wizards we used. Thanks for the help!

@Louis: I'm not sure if multiplayer's ever worked with PQ PC, to be honest. (There were a few people online when the 360 version came out, and I played one match there for the achievement, but that's about it.) If you want to play multiplayer PQ on PC, your best bet is to coordinate with a close friend and just play through direct IP. Kinda sucks, but it's really the only guaranteed-ish way to play together, since I have no clue as to whether the vanilla PC netplay even works. Make sure that both of you have the expansion installed. If that doesn't work, try it with just the vanilla game. If that doesn't work, then PQ's netcode is officially busted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does online multiplayer work for the expansion pack with Puzzle Quest? Having a bit of trouble getting it to work.
