Removing PhysX > CPU green text?
Something strange happened to me with this game, I've been playying it at 4K Ultra fine up until about an hour ago when PhysX > CPU suddenly popped up in the top corner of the screen. I can neither get rid of this text nor restore the performance to what it used to be.

There's supposed to be an option in the nVidia graphics driver settings to at least disable that text, but that's not the case in the latest drivers. I'd settle simply for removing that from my screen at this point because I don't want PhysX > CPU burnt into my OLED TV.

Yeah, it's pretty weird that they decided to hide it there. There's a whole property page for settings like that, and then they go ahead and bury this particular option as a check box on a menu.

It's a little disappointing though that with my 3-way SLI config, even if I dedicate one GPU to PhysX, HairWorks, etc. still runs on the CPU. The only reason I own an NVIDIA card is for HDMI 2.0, but I thought PhysX running on the GPU would be a nice perk. I think I'm just going to go back to AMD once they push out a product with HDMI 2.0.

Took me AGES to find this as I kept combing through the actual 3D settings list instead of finding the stupid drop down box that hides it's single naughty option. If the person or people who made that were here now I'd tell them some things they would not appreciate about their liniage in relation to a tree stump and colse family members. Thanks for this helpful thread.
That didn't work for me. It keeps re-enabling it automatically once I turn on the game.
