Who loved a man who abandoned her to chase his forgotten lover and their daughter of circumstance, leaving her alone after all of it.
She was the single most compelling female character in this game by my opinion.
For me the voice acting suited the character.
Triss cares about Geralt and is fun loving, but she remains in Novigrad for a specific reason and in a way everything else is a distraction. There are moments when she really shows the determination inside her and those moments are appropriate for the character.
Yes its terrible, she sounds like some country bumpkin instead of a sophisticated upper class aristocrat. I mean she has lived a long time and is used to the trappings of luxury. I think Keira Metz pulled it off best.
Yennefer managed to rub me the wrong way quite early going into W3. I think it is telling of character when one's enjoying longevity by carrying a grudge and refusing to let it go, only to drop it for the time needed to scratch an itch.
The only thing important to Keira Metz is Keira Metz. I actually know women that are that level of egocentric. Suffice to say that I'm not on friendly terms with those women.
Triss is. She is the only women to be a pressure of 5 years on the life of Geralt, Triss is Egocentric to a very high level. And Gerat is a Witcher, he doesn't know of what tomorrow will bring...
IN the LightHouse, when Geralt Romances Her.
And i Love Filippa, she is Honnest with her design, she Loves Power, she is not a two faced woman. That i can understand, some people loves Power, that's all.
Well i miss the character portrayal from W1 and to a lesser extent W2 where i felt the character had already been radically changed.
Maybe its because they spent so much time working on Yennefer and Ciri and trying to get them right as it was their first appearance in the game's but Triss as a character suffered for that.
For me Triss is boring, she always bugs my Geralt, always complains about everything, she always judge your actions.
She is only an Holier-than-tou two faced woman, she is more boring than everyone in game, like a tsundere character, lol.
Filippa never complains, she loves Power.
Yennefer doesn't complains, she Loves Ciri and Geralt.
This two Sorceresses are always straigts with their mind, with their POV, that is more honnest, and i don't misjudged them because of that.
I'm actually going the Triss path and will dump Yennefer out on her azz at first opportunity. She can take her jennifer lopez act elsewhere.
I understand what your saying, i think they went a little overboard with the sweet girl act in W3. Everytime she tried to win Geralt over all i could think of was her lying about her intentions in W1 and how she kept silent about Yennefer's whereabouts in W2.
