100% Orange Juice

My game keeps flipping crashing.
My game will not stop crashing no matter what I do.
I cannot start the game at all, I have changed every game option before starting the game, I have tried launching it directly from the game folder (aka forking 100orange.exe) and I tried to restart my computer but that doesn't work. Don't tell me to email you about my userdat or whatever because I don't have it. It doesn't exist because I haven't even gotten the game running whatsoever. Love, Amaiko.
PS. I already tried updating my directx or whatever too and that's already 100% (ha) updated. i will proceed to CRY after this post is made.

Hi there, sorry to hear about the problem. Can you tell us a bit about your system (hardware and OS)? Also, what kind of crash are you getting, and at exactly what point of the game start-up?
Thanks.

Hey, thanks for replying to me.

The problem I'm having is that, after I launch the game from Steam and input my settings in the small "Game Options" window, (and I've tried every single possible graphics setting,) the game appears as a white screen for a few seconds before it says "100orange.exe has stopped working" and proceeds to crash to my desktop.

My OS is a Windows 7 64-bit desktop, running an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.80 GHZ processor, and holds 8 GB of RAM.

I would really like to play the game, please respond soon. Once again, thanks.

Not if it helps, but I had a similar issue with this before when I got my new computer. The only thing I changed was windowed instead of full screen. Idk why, but my new comp doesn't like certain games in full screen mode.

Still ain't working :( I've tried basically everything at this point, I genuinely don't know what to do anymore.

You tried both window and fullscreen? Does the resolution match your monitor's aspect ration and/or native res? I think someone had a problem before where their resolution wasn't showing up in the list.

Have you tried deleting config.dat? I take it you have no user.dat or user.pak yet since you haven't created a profile yet.

Where is your game installed? There might be problems if it's either directly on the root of your drive, or in My Documents. And as always, Run as Administrator.

Have you tried verifying cache or reinstalling?
Abaddon Jun 5, 2016 @ 7:50am
Like I said, tried all the settings in the game options window that appears. Still nothing ;-;
I did try deleting config.dat, and that didn't help. And yeah, I don't have a user.dat or anything.
game is installed in Program Files (x86). I did try running as administrator, still nothing.
And verifying my cache and reinstalling didn't work either.
Dunno if it helps but my friend gifted this since he bought the 4-pack thing.

Well im running out of ideas. Next up i guess is try closing all other programs or turning off your anti virus.

You can also try launching it in safe mode.(copy and paste from a site somewhere unrelated to current game)
If you encounter any issues with the game, such as performance issues or launching problems etc., try launching the game in safemode (minimal settings). Here is what you need to do:
• Launch Steam
• Right-click 100% Orange Juice
• Choose Properties
• Click Set launch options…
• Enter -safemode

Tried all that, didn't work. I really have no clue what it could be at this point. This is blowing my mind.

Can we have a laundry list of background processes you might be running? Antivirus, maintenence programs, etc.
Corrodias Jun 5, 2016 @ 2:52pm
Indeed, I wonder whether another process is trying to hook the video surface or otherwise affect the OJ process in some way and is doing it badly.

I have Avast as my antivirus, I got Steam obviously. I got Paint Tool SAI, Skype, Notepad, Firefox.

Any video card software running? Raptr? Did you try running the exe without Steam? Or some other overlay or chat program that might try to detect your games and do something funky?
Abaddon Jun 5, 2016 @ 4:57pm
the video card software running is AMD Radeon HD 6450 ouq and yes i've tried running the game without steam, still doesn't work. and i don't believe i have anything of the sort.

I'm having the same issue, when I go to launch it, it freezes my entire computer instead.
