Suggestions for Community Card Pack (ver.2)
Have a card you really want to see in 100% Orange Juice and can't believe it doesn't already exist? Now it's time to get those creative juices flowing!

We will be producing a third new community card pack that will be added to the game for free - based on your ideas.

The card pack will contain a minimum of 1 Boost, Battle, Event, Trap and Gift card.

The contest will have 2 phases:
Phase 1: Concepts
Active: September 7 to October 5 PST.

Unlike last time, when we used the surplus from the first Community Card Pack for the card ideas phase, the game has evolved quite a bit so we want to give everyone a fresh chance to pitch cool new ideas.

The Community Card Pack will be produced as follows:

1. Suggestions may be submitted in this thread until the end of October 5 (PST). Suggestions can include card type, name, effect and cost/level, but general suggestions and discussion on other suggestions are welcome too. Flavor texts are not necessary. Suggestions don't need to be unique, so don't worry about reading every single other idea in the thread. You may also include several ideas in the same post if you wish.

2. Fruitbat Factory will select an appropriate mix of concepts from the thread and modify them as we see fit. Fruitbat Factory may add other cards to the mix as well, if some niche turns out to not be met.

3. Fruitbat Factory and Orange Juice will prepare concepts for the final card selection.

4. An art contest will be launched to create community art for the new cards.

5. Fruitbat Factory and Orange Juice will prepare flavor texts based on the art for the final card selection.

6. The new cards will be added as a free new card pack into the game.

7. The community is, as always, solely responsible for any bugs the new cards introduce.

By submitting a suggestion in the designated thread, you agree to waive any demand to credit or compensation regarding any text and concepts you propose with the full understanding that that the only reward you receive is the happiness from helping add new content to the game (Suggestions may overlap and it may be impossible to accurately credit or reward them afterwards). Fruitbat Factory reserves the right to modify the suggestions and to not use any of them at their discretion.

Phase 2: Art Contest
After we have finished processing the submissions and selected winning card entries, and discussed their concept with Orange Juice, we will run a new Art Contest for them! More detail will be released on this when it's time.

The two things I would like to see, but probably unlikely are these:

Type: Gift
Description: Out-of-battle damage cards to activate an additional time each time you are holding this card. (Targets can be changed.)
Discard on use.
Or
Type: Gift
Description: Draw a new card this turn. You cannot draw past your hand limit.

Can only be used when a boss is on the field, while you are attacking a boss, and cannot be used during CO-OP
Roll a die (dice). The boss gains health equal to that number, up to it's maximum health.
Art would probably be of NoName.

Gain 50% more stars and wins from battles but lose 50% more stars and wins if KO'd
(For units that only give one win, they will now give two wins)

effect: everyone turns invisible to each other for 3 turns and the board looks empty to a player other than their own chara, but you can interact with (i.e. attack) players you happen to pass by (will not be able to use targeted cards like marc's hyper while invisibility is on)

3) aru's present EX++++
lv req: norma 4
cost: 20 stars from each player (unusable otherwise)
effect: everyone gains a random hyper

Can be used at level 3 or higher. Exchange 20 stars for a random hyper of 4 characters in the game.

Gift card

Effect: Gain x star from every source, where x is your norma level. Drop 50% more stars upon KO




Battle card
-1 atk, but gain +1 def and eva.
(For the indecisive moments you really cant decide if they are going to buff atk, and if didn't, rbits kinda makes you take 1 dmg on a auto eva)

Effect: Always attack last in battle. Use to Discard.
Cost: 0
Level: 1

Reasoning: This is a negative effect combined with normal characters and no other cards, but what you really want to use it for is the times when the effect will be positive. Useful combos with this would be:
1. Iru: Make her damage-dealing passive before combat begins work against Sherry and neutral enemies, or hope a different character draws this so that you can go first (although your passive won't have an effect in this case). Honestly the least useful of these examples most likely, but I like Iru so I need to mention her first.
2. Tactical Retreat and Shield Counter: Use these cards even when you're the one to initiate combat, and even against neutral enemies. This will be very helpful against bosses, or to safely deal damage to (Shield Counter) or just stay behind (Tactical Retreat) high attack characters with no chance of them fighting back.
3. Tequila: Force enemies to trigger your passive and strike back with the extra attack you get.
4. Robo Ball: Be able to use your hyper in any battle, instead of having to wait for somebody to attack you.

Choose any character including self. For the next chapter(s) they have no passive character ability.

*For example, Someone like Sherry they could use it themselves to be able to attack first in battle if they initiated it. Islay could actually initiate battles. Using it on an enemy Kae before they attack wouldnt let them boost attack off negative defense. Nath wouldnt get stacks off used battle cards. Etc.*

A trap card that when triggered, suppresses character passives. It would be a level 3 card.

Effect: Attack first. May only be played by the defender.(notes: great if you're being harassed by heavy hitters with poor defence)

Name: Surprise Attack
Type: Gift
cost: lvlX5
level: 1
Effect: chance for an enemy encounter every turn. Opponent goes first. Using this card sends it to another player. If Cost is higher than your star count, card can be used for free. (notes: The battle equivalent to the unlucky charm)

Name: Forcing Your Hand
Type: Event
Cost: 20 stars
Level: 3
Effect: Every opponent is forced to use a card in their next turn if they have one. (notes: This can force players to use cards they might not like/at inopportune times and ensure even unpopular cards are used)
