I mean, its not like only furries will play it. For example Asmongold played the game, thinking it'd be funny to goof on it for content, and ended up really liking it. That actually happened alot. It's memeability is almost certainly going to get a decent amount of people and influences to try it, even if its only for laughs. And then its all up to the gameplay.

If its fun, people will play it. It's really that simple. Sure, furries are more likely to play it, but just because it has alot of furries doesn't mean non-furries won't play it. See: World of Warcraft and countless other MMO full of furries, Zootopia, SpiritFarer, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Night in the Woods, Against the Storm, Timberborn, Animal Crossing, Elder Scrolls Games, etc.

Brass tacks here is that the different characters and art style will help it stand out, the gameplay is quite good, the characters have fun to play well themed kits, and the running on all fours sprint mechanic is actually really really good and satisfying from a pure gameplay perspective.

The last thing this game needs is the attention of Asmongold and his chat. And whether "normals" will buy this game and not refund it after 100 minutes remains to be seen, as I said. I will buy it for sure, but I have not met anyone (who is not a furry) who would not make fun of this game. The atmosphere around it is at least unfavorable.

I have to claim to be a victim for you to say im playing a victim card lol. I'm pretty empowered honestly. I'm not even upset with you, I feel bad for you. Digging up an old conversation on a niche game to pick fights with people on the internet is not something people who are in a good place do.

I would have preferred it have Non-Furry skin options as well but I get that that is the theme of the game and while I don't like it will still play if the hit registry is good and there is no cheating and the maps and everything are well created because its been forever since the FPS/TPS genre has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a game with good hit registry and cheating under control with good maps and balance. So as long as they provide those I don't care if the characters are mega edgy anime characters, realistic veteran styled characters or a skimpy fox with an SMG. Just give me good hit registry, little to no cheating with battle-eye, good maps and weapon balance and the rest doesn't matter one way or the other. At worst it just adds an element to laugh at.

The amount of copium huffing seemingly at work on your part is deeply concerning. Not to mention pretty sure your fellow furrys may get at best annoyed that your tarnishing their communities name. Those trends weren't 30 years ago. They still exist over the mass majority of our highly flawed planet and its populace. Believing otherwise is denial at best, schizophrenia at worst. If that is genuinely how your thinking then you should seek some help my dude. Statistically speaking very few people are actually accepting of it outside of japan, even in the west. The difference is many people in the west just gave up trying to talk sense into people with those specific tastes. Because it makes them easier for governments and corporations to control because they are easily appeased. Its like a parent giving their kid an allowance. Your not entitled to it and it isn't because you deserve it. It just it makes things easier to handle and allows very clear lines to be set. It also gives them precedent to stop bad behavior or it gets taken away. It is a societal shackle that members of that specific community accept. Be it aware or not. Which admittedly is distasteful but its simply the reality of how modern society currently works in the west.

On the note of assuming someones avatar automatically makes them a furry is wild. Plenty of people care about wildlife or domesticated creatures without having any views or thoughts remotely like that. Some of these people utilize animal avatars simply for those reasons.
