I played a bit of the playtests and the beta of Wild Assault, and I thought they were decent. Now that the game has launched into Early Access (And now paid), I've got some good things to say along with some bad.

- Fun gameplay
- Fun character designs that fit their abilities
- Good progression for each character, allowing different playstyles.
- Easy to unlock other characters

- Servers. I played on US East, as it's the only one in the US. The servers will say 50-75 ms of ping but I'm rubberbanding all over the place. It seems to have been fixed for the most part, but expect odd hit reg. Not 2042 bad, but pretty poor.

- Premium Battle Pass. I might get flak for this, but an early access game launching with a paid battle pass imo is scummy. I bought the special early access bundle and I don't even get it? The battle pass doesn't even give you the full amount back in the premium currency. The new items are in the battle pass as well, which is fine.

- Player Numbers. It's a little worrying seeing the game launch with 1k people on Steam. A multiplayer game needs people in order to thrive, unless there's some PvE content.

- Mobile Game-like Elements. There's daily tasks, daily logins, rookie rewards, etc. That's fine to me, I just hope it doesn't go down the path of something like Cod Mobile to where there's egregious gacha elements added.

Overall, Wild Assault is a fun anthro shooter that allows good customization with each character to change the playstyle. In my personal opinion, the game needs a form of PvE. Either a story-based mission or just against bots, since it's pretty obvious that bots are already in the servers. Games like Midnight Ghost Hunt are still worth playing imo because the gameplay loop and progression are still achievable with the game's ai. I really hope the game can fix these issues because the game is a load of fun.

As of right now, i think the game should have stayed in beta as there is many bugs and non balanced stuff, as for my first hour of gameplay i got to level 3 but im sadly fighting against ennemy that are level 40 with loadout that are fully upgraded and such, i fell through the map several time, the ennemy being able to be so close to our spawn that they can kill us direclty, a little spawn protection would be nice, for people that would like to buy this game i would recommend to wait a bit for some update and for the game to be stable.

Developers of this game deliberately inflate number of servers (not players) with bots. It feels like they set a limit on how many real players can be in one match and once that number is reached the rest is filled with bots and no new players can join and replace the bots. So instead of having one normal 20v20 match you will always have four 5v5 matches filled with stupid bots. Since this "issue" is persistent throughout all the tests devs did and never fixed it my conclusion is that it is intended. Which is the most retarded thing you can imagine.
Oh, actually there is one even more retarded decision made by these devs: making this game 15$ and not free to play. The game itself is a gem in hands of bunch of monkeys. It doesn't deserve to die but sadly it will in a couple of months because nobody wants to play against heavily bugged aimboting AI all the time.
