-Borg: Synthetic Dawn DLC = Machine gestalt conscious --> Driven Assimilators
-Tyranids: Utopia DLC = Hivemind --> Devouring Swarm
Warning: Devouring Swarm, as same as Fanatical Purifier (normal Meatbags) or Determined Exterminator (Machines), is hard to play becasue everyone hates you and no diplomacy at all. Which also includes no Trade with enclaves (Leviathan DLC)
Of course the vanilla version lacks for both choices aproprate ships, better portraits ander minor stuff. Which can be get done through teh workshop for a better gameplay feeling. Which of course since heavily modding, will disable achievement gain, so you should ask yourself if that is a fair trade. If you go modded
Portraits for Tyranids

Extension for real machine Borg

For Tyranid ships I would use these

For Borg (or machines in general) these

As a last flavour you could probably throw these into the pit

and maybe for a "Borg Nexus start"

If such a patchwork is not the Borg experience you seek, you could skip all of that, and try the real Star Trek Total Conversion
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=688086068
Which offers playable Borg, a Borg UI

and the usual Star trek Borg experience with "Cube them all to hell!". Of course you will be trapped in that Star Trek mod then and have no shot for other mods.
