If by ``mods for noobs" you mean ``cheat mods" there is one called Filthy Casual.

Those will disable achievements, so if you still want to get those I recommend staying to the cosmetic stuff they normally don't but some can

Bah! In My Day just beating a game was enough of an acheivement. Now you whiper snappers need to parade every little thing you do on facebook.

``Look, I made instant oatmeal!" *picture*

``Look, I didn't fail my math class!" *snap*

``Look, I pooped to day!" *click*

(if you can't tell, I have an issue with millenials)

Be warned about mods that add extra traits. They make the final stage of genetic evolution basically useless since all the icons for the op traits will be pushed off the screen by the modded traits. The game just wasnt designed for that many traits

They aren't nessisarily OP. Also there is a UI mod that addreses that.

For me the only must have mods are the Expanded Traditions and Ascension perks (two separate mods by the same person). The current in game traditions are very limiting and you end up with all of them at the end anyway; this changes that drastically.

I don't know. I don't use it. I just deal with the over flow the best I can. I go with Psionic path, so it doesn't really effect me.

In my day, reading through the 200 page manual so you knew how to play was the achievement!

LMAO! Yes! Yes, it was. I still have those tomes. They're in a box somewhere, but I have them.
